It’s common for romance authors to find companies that allow customer to create their own sites for free. Be weary of the term free when it comes to website creation. Many of these companies have pop-ups and advertising on their site pages. These ads basically yell at the person who comes to the site. Some even include audio ads. This is not appreciated by most readers and can easily encourage a reader not to buy your books.
Book Flicks™
Many authors and publishers are reaching towards video and audio to connect with readers. The emergence of the mini book video is on the rise. There are also video viewing networks that focus specifically on books cropping up. A few of them are www.MyBookFlick.com, www.cosproductions.com and http://www.book-trailers.net.

Social Networks are the new big hit on the web. You create a profile and you have a page on that network. Most allow you to add graphics, videos, information posts and you can join groups.
